Selen Kocabaş is a senior executive, independent board member and strategic consultant with over 30 years of experience in human resources management, strategy, organizational transformation and board leadership in the business world. Throughout her career, she has led transformation processes of large-scale organizations; playing active roles in many corporate transformation stories with a management approach that addresses people, technology and strategy together.

Kocabaş began her career at Koç Group; and following her management experience at Arçelik, Marshall Paints and DanoneSA, she joined Turkcell in 2002 as Deputy General Manager. During her 13 years at Turkcell, she led functions in Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Information Technologies and Corporate Business; assuming critical responsibilities in the company's transformation from a traditional GSM operator to a technology and infrastructure-focused organization.

Through her work particularly in organizational transformation, human resources management and strategic structuring; she has developed strong expertise in large-scale team management, talent transformation and next-generation organizational models.

In addition to her corporate career, Kocabaş has taken active roles in civil society and governance areas; becoming the first female president of PERYÖN Human Resources Association, serving among the founding members of the Ethics and Reputation Association and playing roles in the establishment processes of important organizations such as the Women in Board of Management Association, YenidenBiz and Women in Technology Association.

Today, as one of the founding business partners of the Mentoro platform, she provides strategic consulting and mentoring support to companies. She also continues her roles as independent board member and committee chair at companies such as MultinetUP, Tekfen Holding, Tat Gıda, Kocaer Steel, Aydın Group, English Home and Eve Shop.

A graduate of Istanbul University with a degree in English Economics, Kocabaş completed her master's degree in Human Resources Management at Marmara University; and further strengthened her expertise in leadership and governance from an international perspective by completing programs at Harvard and INSEAD.

Known for her human-centered leadership approach, Selen Kocabaş actively contributes to areas of sustainable organizational growth, leadership development and strengthening governance models.
