Nuri Murat Avcı is a business leader specializing in strategy, governance, and leadership, who combines over 30 years of leadership experience with perspectives in maritime, entrepreneurship, investment, and senior consulting. He supports organizations by transforming the disciplined leadership approach derived from his maritime background and ship command history into decision-making systems in business environments characterized by uncertainty, crisis, and high complexity.
Having worked with companies, startups, and leadership teams operating in various sectors since 1992, Avcı has experience in strategy development, operations management, risk management, and organizational structuring. He bases his fundamental approach on the philosophy of "thinking the impossible without giving up on the possible; not sacrificing the good for the perfect" and aims to provide leaders with strategic clarity during periods of uncertainty.
Throughout his career, he has undertaken the founding leadership of many organizations; taking an active role in the establishment of structures such as House of Human Koçluk A.Ş., VUCA Leaders Management & Consulting, the Association of All Entrepreneurs and Business Mentors (TÜGİM), Step Up Coaching, and the Çukurova Investment Platform (ÇUYAP). At the same time, he has established a strong position in the entrepreneurship world with his identities as an investor, mentor, and ecosystem developer.
Today, he works with boards of directors and leadership teams across a wide spectrum, ranging from targeted cancer drug R&D companies to aircraft engine, amphibious vehicle systems, ship design, and advanced technology companies. He mainly focuses his work on governance and decision-making architecture, growth and scaling strategies, as well as investment readiness and stakeholder management.
On the mentorship and investor side, he works with startups from the early stage up to the Series A/B level; building measurable and actionable systems on business model design, revenue architecture, go-to-market strategies, and team structuring. As an angel investor, he has made 15 investments to date; he continues to take an active role in the entrepreneurship ecosystem as a mentor, jury member, and program designer.
In his consulting approach, he simplifies OKR and KPI systems, transforming them into actionable rhythms; supporting leadership teams in making faster decisions, communicating more clearly, and establishing stronger implementation disciplines.
