Hakan Öker

With 40+ years of experience, he has held senior roles at TAV Airports and Kordsa, specializing in people, talent, organizational transformation, leadership, and high-performance cultures.

Hakan Öker is a C-Suite executive and business leader with extensive experience in people and organization management, talent strategy, leadership development, and corporate transformation. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions in complex and international organizations, focusing on aligning leadership, talent, and organizational strategies with business growth.

He began his career at Beksa Steel Cord in 1988, taking on various roles across Human Resources and Quality. He served as an HR Specialist before moving into quality management roles, eventually becoming Quality Assurance Director. During this period, he established Customer Technical Services, led customer projects, supported the company’s quality systems, and contributed to Business Excellence initiatives.

In Kordsa, he served as HR Director between 1998 and 2002, managing HR processes, administration, social affairs, and industrial relations. He also led the SAP HR implementation, played a key role in the closure of the industrial fabrics plant, and contributed to M&A and the global joint venture project with DuPont.

At Brisa Bridgestone Sabancı, he served as Shared Services Director for Quality and IT, leading the Kentsa 2002 Project. The project targeted savings through improvements in internal support processes and a shared-services approach, generating USD 10.4 million in total savings.

He later served as Projects Director at Sabancı Holding, where he worked on creating synergies among group companies and led business projects including M&A preparation, risk management, innovation, Six Sigma, Business Excellence, and strategic planning.

At Kordsa Global, he held senior leadership positions across HR, IT, and business operations. As Vice President of HR & IT, he was responsible for global HR, IT, and Internal Communications strategies. He also served as Head of the Construction Reinforcement Business Unit, taking end-to-end responsibility for product, product development, production, marketing, sales, and P&L.

From 2016 to 2026, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer / Group Head of Human Resources at TAV Airports. He was responsible for global HR, Internal Communications, Social and Administrative Affairs, Safety, Health and Environment, Business Excellence, and Corporate Sustainability across headquarters, airports, and six service companies in more than 20 countries. He was also a member of the TAV Airports Holding Executive Committee and served on the boards of several TAV companies and organizations.

Since 2026, he has been working as a Founder and Fractional Leader, supporting founders, investors, and leadership teams in transformation, organizational scaling, and sustainable growth. He also serves as an Advisor at Flight Minds and has undertaken a Fractional Chief Executive Officer role at Talentius.ai.
