Gülçin Aytemizel Telatar is a manager specialized in fintech, payment systems, retail banking and digital finance with over 20 years of experience; possessing strong leadership background in product management, business development, customer experience and growth strategies.

Throughout her career, she has assumed senior-level positions at BBVA Garanti Payment Systems, ING Turkey, Paycell and various players in the fintech ecosystem; actively participating in payment systems, digital financial products and next-generation financial technologies development processes.

Having spent a significant portion of her professional career at BBVA Garanti Payment Systems, Telatar served in credit card product management, portfolio management, sales, marketing and product development; developing strong expertise in the dynamics of the payment systems sector.

During her tenure at ING Turkey, she led the implementation of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions, one of the early alternative financing models in the banking sector; creating alternative distribution channels with over 50 business partners and developing business models expanding customer reach.

At Paycell, she led development, growth and scaling processes of digital financial products reaching millions of users; leaving her mark on significant projects in the digital finance ecosystem through her work focused on user experience, product development and revenue growth.

Today serving as General Manager of Star Payment and E-Money, she manages end-to-end licensing, regulation, product development and operational structuring of the organization in its operational preparation process. She plays active roles in critical areas such as digital wallet, payment gateway, money transfer and financial service infrastructure establishment.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Telatar assumes active roles in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and women leadership; serving as one of the founding board members of the Turkey Fintech Association. She contributes to inclusive leadership and diversity through roles in organizations such as Women in Technology Association and European Women on Board. She also serves as active mentor in the startup ecosystem.

She applies her experience in financial technologies, digital products and growth strategies in applied ways both in transformation processes of large institutions and in scaling of rapidly growing ventures.
