Fırat Akkemik is an organizational development leader with over 33 years of experience in people and culture, organizational development and leadership; designing human-centered transformation programs. Throughout his career, bringing together marketing, product management and human resources disciplines, he has provided leadership to structures aligning human systems with organizations' strategic objectives.
A graduate of ITU Management Engineering, Akkemik began his professional career in strategic marketing and product management; subsequently transferring these experiences to human resources and organizational development, establishing strong connections between business results and people strategies.
Throughout his 33-year career, serving in different sectors such as FMCG, automotive, infrastructure projects, manufacturing and construction; he has provided leadership to comprehensive projects in talent management, employee experience, leadership development and cultural transformation.
Throughout his career, managing marketing, human resources and industrial relations in publicly listed companies; serving in company establishment processes in the USA and providing leadership to people and organizational development work in different cultures in America and Europe. In his final corporate position, he served as Deputy General Manager responsible for People, Corporate Development and Sustainability, managing organizations' transformation processes.
Today, continuing his work as consultant, facilitator, mentor and coach; providing support to companies in organizational development, culture transformation and leadership development.
Through his approach supported by international training in coaching, facilitation and leadership development; he designs systems placing people at the center, focusing on business results and targeting sustainable transformation.
In addition to his corporate career, playing active roles in community development and inclusion; serving in various professional networks, civil society structures and advisory boards.
