ITU Aerospace Engineer A. Fatih Tamay is an experienced corporate governance leader from Anadolu Isuzu. As ISO Automotive Committee Vice Chair and independent board member, he guides family businesses in generational transitions and succession planning.
A. Fatih Tamay is a manager and independent board member specialized in corporate governance, organizational transformation, governance and sustainable growth with long-standing leadership experience in the automotive and industrial sectors. Throughout his career, he has particularly assumed active roles in institutionalization of family businesses, management of transformation programs and establishment of professional management systems.
After graduating from Istanbul Technical University's Aircraft Engineering department, Tamay began his professional career in the automotive sector, serving in various management functions within Anadolu Isuzu for many years and assuming critical responsibilities in the company's transformation journey.
Throughout his career at Anadolu Isuzu, he led digital transformation, strategic transformation programs, process improvement initiatives and organizational structuring projects; contributing to the establishment of systems focused on sustainable growth by combining operational perspective with corporate governance understanding.
In addition to his corporate career, Tamay has assumed active roles within the automotive and industrial ecosystem; taking on important responsibilities in sectoral representation, governance and policy development. He has served in active capacities within the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD), Advanced Project Risk Management and Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO); and today continues his duties as Vice Chair of the İSO Automotive Supply Industry Committee and member of the İSO Family Businesses and Institutionalization Working Group.
Since 2017, Tamay has assumed independent board memberships at various holdings and family businesses; working particularly in institutionalization of family businesses, creation of professional management models, generational transitions and establishment of sustainable governance structures.
Also playing active roles in education and social impact, Tamay continues his trustee duties at ISOV, TOSOV and MEV Education Foundations, while also continuing his work within TKYD Turkey Corporate Governance Association and the Board Members Association (YÜD).
Today, particularly working with industrial establishments, family businesses and growth-focused organizations; he provides support in establishing management systems, governance structures and transformation programs.
