Clark, an MIT and ODTU graduate computer engineer, is a tech leader and investor with 20 years of experience. For 10 years in Silicon Valley, he has focused on VC investments, mentoring entrepreneurs, and advising corporate companies.

Duygu Öktem Clark is a technology leader, investor and entrepreneurship ecosystem expert with international experience in technology entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, venture capital and startup ecosystem. Throughout her career, she has developed models that build bridges between corporate companies and startups; pioneering work in systematizing innovation, venture investments and global technology ecosystems.

Following her Computer Engineering education and completion of an Information Systems master's degree at METU, Clark completed her MBA at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), building a multidisciplinary career that brings together technology, business development and innovation.

Beginning her professional career as a Technology Diplomat at TÜBİTAK European Union Office, Clark represented Turkey at the European Commission and European technology clusters; contributing to the establishment of multi-million-dollar R&D collaborations between Turkish and European companies and universities.

Subsequently joining Türk Telekom Group, she became one of the founding managers of the company's R&D and innovation organization; establishing the European Union R&D Partnerships department from scratch and leading projects with budgets exceeding 100 million dollars.

As one of the founders of Türk Telekom PILOT, one of Turkey's first corporate acceleration programs, she designed and implemented the program from the ground up. The founding story of Türk Telekom PILOT was later taught as a case study at MIT, and the program received numerous awards.

Later, she served as Business Development Leader at the 65-million-dollar TTA Fund established under the leadership of the European Investment Fund; working on technology startup evaluation, university patent investment processes and startup mentoring.

Continuing her career in San Francisco, Clark founded DO Venture Partners based in Silicon Valley, starting to invest in early-stage startups and supporting companies to develop their innovation capacity through startup collaborations.

On the academic side, Clark serves as a visiting faculty member at Stanford and UC Berkeley; while also serving as jury member and mentor in the MIT 100K Challenge, the Entrepreneurship Foundation and many other international programs.
