Birsen Şehirli Tor

Birsen Şehirli Tor is a textile engineer with over 35 years of experience in the textile and fashion industry, specializing in global sourcing, technical operations, product development, production, supply chain management, and retail operations. She has held senior leadership positions across international production networks and multiple fashion categories.

She began her career with advanced technical denim production training within VF Corporation's Lee & Wrangler jeans manufacturing operations. Throughout her career, she has gained experience across a wide range of fashion categories, including woven and knitwear, outerwear, footwear, accessories, activewear, and leather.

During her tenure as General Manager at Li & Fung, she managed global sourcing operations for customer groups across Türkiye, Russia, Germany, and the Baltic countries, working with international production networks and global fashion brands.

At Trendyol.com, she served as Vice President of Fashion Brands, contributing to the establishment and development of private labels. She later worked as Group Category Manager at n11, managing categories including textiles, footwear, jewellery and accessories, cosmetics, retail brands, and private labels.

At Boyner Group, she served as Project Director, working on strategic projects and sourcing-related initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held a Strategic Planning Coordinator role at Marks & Spencer, with responsibilities covering raw material purchasing, factory flow management, and country business coordination.

She currently continues her professional career as Global Sourcing & Technical Operations Director at COLIN’S, where she focuses on global sourcing and technical operations. She also serves as Chairman of the Istanbul Board of the Chamber of Textile Engineers (TMMOB Tekstil Mühendisleri Odası).
