Defne İncekara is a transformation leader, trainer and executive coach with over 25 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, big data and artificial intelligence; who supports organizations in transforming artificial intelligence into a strategic capability.

Throughout her career working at global companies such as IBM, Ericsson, Vodafone, PwC and Andersen; İncekara has worked on digital transformation programs, big data projects and technology strategies, assuming active roles in management processes where million-dollar investment decisions were shaped.

One of the most important insights İncekara gained throughout her corporate career is that despite companies making substantial investments in technology, leadership teams struggle to transform technological change into organizational behavior. For this reason, she has shifted the focus of her career to artificial intelligence literacy, transformation leadership and organizational adaptation.

Her core focus today is transforming artificial intelligence fear into curiosity within organizations, and curiosity into application. Particularly through education and transformation programs she has designed for C-level executives, leadership teams and functional organizations, she supports organizations in integrating artificial intelligence into their daily ways of working.

In 2025, with over 663 professionals actively participating in artificial intelligence education processes, İncekara designs applied programs focused not merely on theoretical knowledge transfer, but on behavior change and measurable business results.

A graduate of Koç University in Mathematics, İncekara has completed AI for Enterprise & Generative AI programs at Harvard Business School. While strengthening her expertise in artificial intelligence with VJAL Institute AI Super Trainer and Outskill AI Generalist certifications; she supports her work in leadership development through ICF-accredited executive coaching, John Maxwell training and behavior science-based methodologies.

Today, she teaches leaders, teams and organizations not only to use artificial intelligence, but to position it in ways that create organizational advantage.
